I use the app Text to create powerful and impactful web graphics. Having the ability to quickly apply materials, textures and even import your own additions to the materials library is fantastic.
Maybe best of all, there is not a huge learning curve to using it, the screen layout simply makes sense. I love using it in concert with other graphic programs as its easily imports, exports, copies and pastes from one to another; no unique formating restrictions.
Buy it you love it. This is a great tool to manipulate text into some fun layouts. It doesn't do anything else, it's very focused on what it does. It has a bit of a learning curve, but you can produce some pretty nice things fairly quickly, right out of the box. I use it every month to put my employee's names on envelopes for their paychecks.
It adds a litte fun to the whole process and means I don't have to crank out a full on Photoshop and have a degree in the app to make artistic text look good. It is an incredible app that helps me so much. I am a teacher, and I use it to make posters for my classroom. The 3D text and effects really make things the posters pop!
Much of the app is intuitive, so you can get started right away. As for exporting, I have been exporting as JPG at dpi, and the quality is amazing! Pixel Art - Color by number coloring book.
